Stop burning half of the population

(Pss... This is a really long blog.) People are burning half of the population this instant, right now. The burn has spread across and took over the world. The wealthiest countries and the poorest countries, the old, the young, the happy, the sad are all burning half the population. It all started with agriculture.

Agriculture ment farming, and farming required labor. Men were on average physically stronger than women, and men began to do more farmwork. Men were more expected to work in the fields for food, as women took care of the children. Men would gloriously work in the fields, providing food for their family. Even under the hot sun rays, men wouldn’t stop. With barely any strength left in the farmer’s hands, he would pick up the heaps of food, his body vibrating with lack of strength. The woman? They sat back in home, where the crying of babies never stopped. Dirt, spills, mud everywhere. The once clean furniture covered in dust. The sink is filled with dishes. All for the mom to do. All for the mom to dust and clean, to polish and sparkle.

As men started working in the fields more, men earned more respect, and men came to power. Soon or later, the unequal distribution to half the population began to scorch the unrespected half of all the world. Women got nearly half the salary of a man in a workplace here in Korea and other countries. In charts, it is proven that more men are in higher positions in a workplace, regardless of the productivity the workers show. Till this day a woman’s position is the lowest in a family. Korea’s Confucianism ideas only supported unequal racism against gender. Men did the performances of sacrifice, a kind of old, traditional ritual sort of thing. Men got more of the inheritance on average. Women did a lot of the housework in the old ages and still today, no matter how much people will rant about how ‘My dad does the dishes!’, ‘My dad dusts the furniture!’ And so on. Women couldn’t even vote till 100 years ago, and couldn’t even drink freely!

It only takes a little change to stop burning half of the population. Recognize the importance of women. Treat new female family members better then how some old adults might. If some of the readers get a high position, like a boss or a father, be sure to look at the people around you in a none racist perspective. All this effort does not require a lot of anything. They are the ones that give birth to babies. Women are as smart and bright as men. (Not more, but as much as men.) Give women opportunities to show off an individual’s potential skills and brilliance, that are ought to change the world. Helping to recover women equality can also help with other crises; More development in technology with helping women show off their skills, and even the low rates of births. Surveys and research shows that 30% of unmarried women don’t marry because of all the inequality they face in their married home, like nagging, housework, and unfairness. So stand up and act for women, so that the next generation will live in a world where none of the population is burned.
