So, there is a heated debate in our class 24.7. Who is better? Bears or dolphins? Well, surveys show that on average bears take about the 5th place as the most liked animal. Dolphins? Shockingly, about 5th place as well. I am not lying here. You can go google up if you wanna. So, anyway today I am going to make a cold, logical decision of which animal is better. And which animal we humans scientifically tend to like.
Dolphins were considered very godly and mystic in ancient times, so much so that great empires like Egypt and Greece included dolphins in countless pieces of poetry, pottery, drawings and other types of art and objects. Bears were common in great empires and so there are lots of specific records of them. Bears were so common that they were considered the representative of wild, tame, and even culture. So, from the start, the two animals show some considerable competition. But moving on to a more developed society, people got more afraid of bears than dolphins, and there are many reasons for this. First, bears are quite freciorious, for they are hunters who hunt, steal, and kill for food. These wild instincts may have made people repelled against them. Second, it was more common to see bears fight rather than dolphins. Dolphins lived in water, while bears lived on land, so it was much easier to see a pair of bears fight rather than dolphins. And after the high IQ of dolphins were exposed, it may seem like the dolphin will win, but the competition isn’t over yet… Cause here comes the teddy bear!
The cute cuddly teddy bear instantly became the best friend of children all around the world and gave a good impression of bears to a huge crowd of people. Thus, the score goes almost even again. But still, the dolphin’s remain on the front line for they were more well known for their intelligence and cruel but cool dolphin shows. Yet here comes the gummy bear! Released in the early 1900s, the gummy bear was literally a huge lump of sugar shaped like a bear. It became so popular and still is, and continues to give people a more soft spot of bears entirely. So in the end, it is a tie. Unless some new scientific evidence of both animals are exposed, it is impossible to give out a winner. But I hope we can at least agree that both animals are super cool.
and I support dolphins in my opinion
