It was just a normal night like always. A normal Wednesday, the night after Peai. We all said bye to Mr.Patrick and we left the classroom rushing to the elevator. Of course Juan was messing with the elevator buttons again running to every floor pressing every button on each floor. Also like usual, Joyce came to the rescue by stopping Juan from pressing all those buttons. The elevator was loud like always, mostly by Julia and Roy. As soon as the elevator stopped on the 1st floor, I saw my mom standing there, ready to hug me. I gave her a tight hug and we walked out of the Peai building. I said bye to everyone else and my mom and I walked to the bus station, talking about how Peai was. I said it was very fun. Bus number 340 had arrived. I got on the bus and scanned my bus card on the little tiny machine. I sat on the high spot which is my favorite spot of all. But unlikely, I wanted to sit behind my mom instead. So I got up when it was the next stop and was going toward where my mom was and slipping out of my pocket, my phone had dropped on the FLOOR. ‘Uh oh.’ i thought. I ran over to where my phone had dropped and I picked it up and turned in very slowly. My phone’s screen had CRACKED. I was heartbroken. I knew a bunch of people who had cracked screens, but i didn’t know that I was going to be one of them!!!!!!!! I showed my mom and all she said was : “ I am NOT going to buy you a new phone.” Soon, we got off the bus and I walked with very heavy shoulders all the way home. So that day, i learned 2 very important lessons. One, do not put your phone in your pocket when getting on the bus, and 2, NEVER i mean NEVER ride on bus number 340.

There must be some kind of curse on that bus.

Last time I rode it I slipped and landed on my poor little pinky...😭
too bad, I need to ride bus 340 when I go to my science academy.
