Once upon a time, there was a man called Lightning Cheetah. He was as fast as Usain Bolt. Since he ran so well just right after he was born, his parents named him Lightning Cheetah so he could be a cheetah that could run as fast as lightning! Every member of Lightning’s family agreed on that name.
He grew up as a healthy child. He excelled mostly in sports, as it was said in his name. He was always the first in his class and sometimes his school did a race. And his family was proud of it. His family knew that Lightning was going to be a famous person.
After Lightning graduated, he knew that running was his thing. He immediately trained and soon joined a marathon team. As always, he won a race with a record seven seconds ahead of the second-place runner. A majority of people were curious about him and after his interview and asked him if they could be his private manager. And he later had a manager called Smart Innovative Guy. He always came up with new ideas that helped Lightning improve his running skills. His family was rich so they could even buy Lightning some fancy and high-quality running shoes that Lightning approved of. But there was a problem. There was no such thing as shoelaces back then, and a lot of consequences existed because of it. There were times that shoes fell off someone’s feet and runners including Lightning used duct tape to hold the shoe in place. Lightning even got in third or second place about three times! The result was big blisters on his feet as big as a coin! And Smart Innovative Guy was to the rescue. He thought about it for a few minutes and came up with the idea of tying a string around the shoes and making holes in the shoe so it can tighten the runners’ feet! He tried that and it was a big success. The manager revealed his idea to the world and everyone took pleasure in it. Smart Innovative Guy called it the shoelace.
After the invention of the shoelace, Lightning always won first place in all the races or marathons he was in, and the shoelace is one of the things that are essential in our life.
