VR art

I read a science magazine, and there was a program called VR art. It was fascinating because I always like VR stuff and like to play VR games.

VR art is making art in VR. if the art was in VR, I think it would be more lifelike and look fantastic. For example, you could see an artist’s rendition of cultural sites in VR. That could help students, too. Another example, Metaverse is getting famous these days and it probably includes VR. If people make drawings of some famous places around the world, people can visit there without having to travel to the real place! Maybe, it would be much nicer to directly go there and enjoy^^ Personally, I think visiting a place directly is better because it is beneficial to experience it.

I read in the magazine that there is Jae-Hyeok Lee. He is a Korean VR artist. He was very interested in this field (VR arts). I saw a couple of his works, and they are outstanding. From the outside, you see that he just manipulates the controllers in the air, doing nothing in real life, but he is creating a drawing in virtual reality. He also helped an old man. The old man wanted to see his old house where he lived when he was young. The artist created the house in a virtual world so the old man can feel like he is actually at his home. He must have felt overjoyed.

Anyway, I hope Jae-Hyeok Lee gets more famous and makes more works. I want to see them. Since he is Korean, I want him to be famous to the whole world. Therefore, I think VR art is very fascinating and I am excited for VR art and for the artist.
