Now, in Peai there was a story called Wonder that I really enjoyed reading. The main character, Auggie is a disabled child, he is a little diffrent from the others. And for that reason, he tends to think that he is a WRONG person. He tries to cover his face with a helmet and does not try to make friends. He was born with a diffrent face from the others, and he goes through many surgeries to live. However, in his new school, he fits in with the others. At first, he is excluded and some people (like Julian) bully him, but later on he finds good friends and he finally feels like he fits in. Now, the reason that I really liked this book is because it was so dramatic, and I love that. It seems like something that has a possibilty of happening in real life, but still is dramatic. In my class there is a 'disabled' kid in my class, or as we like to call him the 'superman' of our class. This kid had ADHD and has Autistic so he kinda screams and hollers in class and runs around and he is sometimes loud but friends in our class take good care of him so he always seems happy. He is the most popular kid in our school and we always treat him like a prince. Wonder made me think about him and made me wonder if he has the same problems. It seems like he did not but in the book Wonder, Auggie pretended he was always okay and was not bothered by the bullying, and he could be the same. There are many people in the world that are the same as Auggie and they are kinda diffrent from the others. They are special not wrong, and I wish others would know. I really enjoyed this book and look forward for more Peai books like this one.
