So, one day, the teacher was like "so, guys, students, we have a new subject! It's woodcraft, but it'll be fun at first, but then get more and more boring! Here is the list of stuff you need to bring!"
And I was like Yipee cause it'll kill to be out of class and doing other stuff.
The first day was actually ok. We got assigned to groups and mine was an all-girl group, but the teacher was horrible. She talked too much and was cranky.
At first, we made simple stuff like cup holders and pencil cases, but we made them with hammers.
It was crazy loud and every time we did something wrong, she like screamed at us like we'd pressed the button that will trigger a bomb that would nuke Korea.
So, I talked back to her, and I admit, I was sarcastic, but only a tiny bit, mind you.
Well, the teacher went berserk and I needed to write "I will be polite to teachers" 30 times.
Afterward, my friends told me that she totally deserved it, and I was right.
Oh, I almost forgot, we use a new tool.
It's called a drill. d-r-i-l-l. the ones that spin and are at construction sites.
If you are asking "But isn't that dangerous?", well that's the million-dollar question.
Now, I call woodcraft free-labor class because now we make chairs, tables, and other stuff for the school.
I mean it's really crazy, nothing to hammer to drill.
I think that I also need to include that we use a saw.
I don't know what the school was thinking to allow a class like this.
Hm. I like this idea. I too will begin using child slavery teaching woodcraft
