THBT everyone should read entire warriors series, then read all the special editions plus all the field guides.
Hi guys~!!! I'm going to do a post about warriors scenarios that come out often in the series. Oh, and this post contains many plot spoilers about warriors. Read on at your own risk!
#1 Loss of a close friend or loved one
Warriors are, well warriors. They fight often, and many friends, family, and loved ones die in the plot. The legendary leader Bluestar lost her mother when she was barely an apprentice. Her sister died at a young age shortly after having a kit, Whitestorm. Then she had to go have half-Clan kits and give them to Oakheart, her River Clan mate. She went through a lot of pain and suffering in her life. There are even some cats who lose mates expecting kits! This is even more painful because not only one, but several lives are lost with the mother.
#2 Death of a small kit
This scenario is very sad, but sadly, it is used often. Mapleshade lost all three kits from a flooding river. She went mad from grief and killed 3 cats to avenge her 3 kits. This loss was very painful for readers because there was a scene of them playing.Find out more about her at https://warrior cats.fandom.com/wiki/Mapleshade
A lot of kits also die in Brokenstar's reign. Tiny kits as young as three moons old fought in battles and often died. One kit called Badgerpaw died in the battle to drive out Wind Clan. His mentor, Flintfang let him choose his warrior name bafore he died, and he choose Badgerfang in memory of his mentor. He later gives the evil Tigerstar a life for training young cats. Lots of other kits die as kits from illnesses.
#3 Forbidden love
The most common scenario. Love for a different Clan cat or love as a medicine cat. Bluestar & Oakheart, Mapleshade & Appledusk, Leafpool & Crowfeather, Graystripe & Silverstream, Ryewhisker & Cloudberry, Lionpaw & Heatherpaw, I could go on for ages. The very first one was Ryewhisker and Cloudberry. Ryewhisker was a Wind Clan cat, and Cloudberry from River Clan. The two Clans fought, and Ryewhisker couldn't let his Clanmate harm his mate, who was carrying his kits. He was distracted and was killed by a River Clan warrior. The five Clans met to solve the problem and decided to create Gatherings. They also created the first part of the Warrior code, 'Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.'
