Fani goes to school furious. She had given a book to her best friend and her friend still hadn't returned it. When she met her friend she asked for the book and her friend replied, "What book are you talking about?" Fani tried to keep her patience as she said, "The books I lent you 2 months ago." "ohhh.... umm..." "Well...?" Her friend just shrugged and said, "I think my mom sold it at the flea market. No big deal you know, you have a bunch of other books." This will lead to a whole argument and to avoid these arguments you need to make friends that give you no doubt at all.
1) HOW DO THEY ACT TO THE OTHERS? Some of your friends might be friendly to you and your group but not the others. Yes, every person has somebody they dislike, but some people are generally just plain mean. If they seem to be mean to almost everybody you know except for a few, you might not want to be BFF's with them. If you guys fight, you'll be in the OTHER people's situation.
2) DO THEY CURSE?
I curse and some of my friends curse. Everybody curses every now and then, but we can CONTROL our words. We don't curse every second. On the other hand, there are people that say a curse in every sentence. This will influence you negatively so it's best to avoid these kinds of people.
3) DO THEY CAUSE TROUBLE OFTEN?
This question is mostly directed to the boys. There's at least one boy in your class that's a trouble-maker. girls tend to avoid these trouble-makers, and the trouble-makers often become the victim of bullying, but it's not really the same for boys. So this is all I have to say. If you have a friend who's a trouble-maker, just be careful, and think twice before you follow their actions. You WILL regret YOUR choice, so thinkthinkthinkthink1!! You don't want to get in unnecessary trouble.
4) HAVE THEY EVER LIED TO YOU? There are two types of lying and they're really different. White-lies can be told so your friend can keep you happy without hurting your feelings. But they can lie on purpose TO MAKE YOU FEEL BAD. If this happens frequently, don't be friends with them. You don't want to quarrel with them just because of that.
THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY AND I REALLY HOPE YOU ALL MAKE DECENT FRIENDS. IF NOT... IT MIGHT TURN OUT TO BE A STRESSFUL 3 MONTHS WITH THEM AT SCHOOL. ONE MORE THING BEFORE I GO. THE WORD FRIEND IS HARD TO OBTAIN BUT EASY TO LOSE, SO DON'T BE THE ONE THAT BREAKS A NICE FRIENDSHIP.
