In our lives, there are two massive things in the vast sky that we see all day, every day. They are The Moon and The Sun, also known as Luna and Sol. Humans have relied on these for an extreme amount of time, approximately 4.543 × 10^9 years. The question is though, which do humans need more? I will be breaking down this question, but will leave the mysterious answer to the readers to solve.
Giant Thingy in the Sky #1: The Moon
The Moon is with no doubt, one of the most important things that humans have relied on. Here are some of the things that it has done for us:
1. Makes Solar or Lunar eclipses, providing a wonderful spectacle
2. Made the calendar possible, since it is based on the changing phases of the Moon
3. Gave the word month its name
4. Allowed further space exploration to be possible
5. Provides more strength for the tides than only what the Sun could give.
Looking at these, we can infer that the Moon does many things to benefit the seas and the sky.
Giant Thingy in the Sky #2: The Sun
The Sun is obviously also one of the major things that keep the Earth itself. Humans will never live without it, unless there is an epic scientific breakthrough, but let's not think about that. Here are some of the things that the Sun does and did for us:
1. Without it, Earth would be this giant lifeless piece of ice
2. The Sun warms the seas
3. It stirs the atmosphere
4. It generates our weather patterns
5. It gives energy to the plants that provide the food and oxygen for life on Earth.
Also looking at this, we can see that the Sun does many things
Looking at this, we can see that the Sun does and will do many things for the seas, the plants, and the sky
Personally, I think that the Sun is more important than the Moon. However, I have my reasons, and other people have theirs. If you agree with me, disagree with me, or just want to say what you think, feel free to leave a comment and a like.
D:SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
if there is no sun, the moon is NOTHING.
though moon can give us titanium, uranium, thorium, potassium and hydrogen (also there is more)
True
I think that both are crucial for Earth. Without any of the two, we wouldn't be able to survive. That would lead to more consequences.......
