1. Introduction

The screw through Cinder's ankle had rusted, the engraved cross marks worn to a mangled circle. In this book called Cinder, which is a PEAI novel, there's a cyborg called Cinder. She lives in New Beijing, after World War IV happened. She is a cyborg, half human half machine. There is a lot of cyborgs in the world now. They are human's slaves, forced to worked beneath them forever, unless they let them go. In this world, humans and cyborgs have ID chips- to help identify them and find them, if necessary. Cinder is a cyborg from Europe, and she does not remember her past except for fuzzy memories of the surgeries. She is the most talented mechanic in New Beijing.

2. Story

Cinder was working as a mechanic, when crown Prince Kai(Kaito) comes. He wants her to fix his android Nansi, because it doesn't work when it was working fine one day. Cinder goes to her home, where her sisters Peony and Pearl is getting all dressed up for the ball. The ball is weeks later, but they are getting prepared for it. When Adri(Cinder's guardian) orders her to fix the hover without borrowing money from her, she goes to the trash dump with Peony and Iko, where Peony catches the plague...
