Warriors is a very popular series by Erin Hunter. It is about warrior cats who fight for survival and give up having kits for the good of their clans. It is a very long series and there are many things that you might not know about. I will explain a few of these mysteries.
Why Yellowfang became a Medicine Cat
In INTO THE WILD, Firepaw finds an old ShadowClan cat named Yellowfang, and attacks her. She used to be a warrior, but later became a medicine cat. Why is that? Yellowfang was originally a warrior, and a good one. But she had a skill; feeling the pain of other cats. She couldn't be a warrior because she would feel the pain of every blow she landed. Sagewhisker; the current ShadowClan medicine cat, insisted that she would be a good medicine cat with that skill, and said Yellowfang was destined to become a medicine cat. Yellowfang did not accept it at first, but gave in and trained to become a medicine cat.
How Crookedstar broke his jaw
Crookedstar was originally Stormkit, son of Shellheart & Rainflower. but he was adventurous, and was always sneaking out of camp to explore. On one adventure, he saw Goosefeather: the ThunderClan medicine cat, collecting herbs on RiverClan territory. They confronted him, and Goosefeather got mad at Stormkit and Oakkit. They ran away, and Stormkit slipped on a stepping stone, breaking his jaw on a rock. Rainflower couldn't accept having a disfigured son and rejected him. She changed his name to Crookedkit, and favored Oakkit over him.
