Hi everyone and today we will talk about whether or not middle/high schools should ban earrings. I will call middle/high schools just schools in the essay. OK? (Hello part and NOT part of the essay)
A girl cuddles a little doll while a needle is beside her ear and OW! Her ears got pierced. Most ear piercing specialists tell their customers that they have to keep their earring on for at least one year or else their holes might get blocked again, and they would have to re-pierce. Re-piercing hurts more than the first pierce because there will be a stain, and it won't be as pretty as the first pierce. In Korean law, most middle schools and high schools banned earrings. Even tiny ones are forbidden in those strict schools which takes over about 90% of Korean schools. And these schools has to be fixed. Middle schools and high schools should let students to wear their earrings to school because they have to express, have the right to put on earrings, and has to avoid holes getting blocked
To start off, students should express themselves. Earrings are a type of fashion. And fashion is one of the keys to expressing themselves. If you are bright and joyful you might wear rainbow earrings. On the other hand, if you are chic you might wear black swan earrings. Students could express their characteristics using simple touches like earrings. However if the schools ban earrings from school than the students will not be able to express themselves as fully as they could. Consequently, earring should be allowed in schools so that students can show themselves more strongly.
Next off, students have the right to put on earrings. Teachers in school have earrings on, but students are banned from them. Most of the students feel unfairly treated because of that. They have the right to wear whatever simple touches they want. It makes sense to ban completely dangling earrings that usually adult models wear made of diamonds. However, it feels weird that schools are banning simple earrings as well like triangles, or hearts. Those type of earrings do not disturb students since they are a very tiny touch to the student's ears, and some people might not even notice. What is clear here is that simple earrings do not distract any students from their important studying. Schools that are banning simple earrings as well seems like they are banning them for no reason. Therefore, students should wear earrings to school freely for their freedom to be kept to them.
Last but not least, students should avoid their holes from getting blocked. As readers might have noticed in the introduction, if one gets their ear holes blocked once it is twice more painful when you second pierce the same spot, and it will come out more out of spot then last time because there will be a little pump on your ear once you pierce. That is the main reason why most people hesitate before piercing their ears. However if the schools that you have to attend bans earrings then the students who pierced their ears at about 6 grade will have their holes automatically blocked which will lead to serious consequences. To sum up, schools should let students proudly wear earrings to their class to avoid their holes from getting blocked.
Ultimately, schools are making a hugely big mistake of banning earrings from their schools because students should express, protect their freedom to decorate themselves, and not let their holes from getting blocked. In the view of the millions of Korean students, we are desperately hoping that teachers will open a free gate for all the earrings in the world.
