Hello guys, this is the River. :) Today, l will talk about teokbokki, which is a Korean tradditional food that is spiced with hot sauce. l guess most people totally LOVES it!! l like teokbokki because of its spicy and sweet taste, but actually, the first teokbokki was not spicy at all. The first one was made for the king and was including meat and sweet sauce, not like the ones today with hot pepper sauce.
My choice for today's blog is writing a top 3 list of nice teokbokki houses. Please enjoy, teokbokki lovers!!!
The 3rd place is 'Dosan Bunsik' which is located near the Dosan park. They call themself as a 'New- wave' teokbokki house. There are unique menus as cutlet sandwich and caya jam sanwich. l loved the teokbokki because of its spicy-sweet-superunique taste of sauce, but it was a little spicy to me. l guess you should try to eat this after you...kind of.. KNOW teokbokki very well since its taste is really new and unique.
The 2nd place is the teokbokki that is selled in the Sinsa Market. lt is SUPERcheap that its price is around 3000 to 5000 won. The sauce is sweet and spicy, and their perfect balance of that sauce just makes me DANCE.(l told you l love dancing hohoho) The only problem is that a necessary thing for this great teokbokki is a whole sack of-what-seems-like-a-1-ton-sugar-sack. OH,noooooooo!!
Tada!!!! The honorable mention...sorry...l mean the honorable 1st place is Dukki teokbokki house. You will have to admit that this place is the best teokbokki house if you hear this--Dukki is a teokbokki buffet. *0* There are almost 10 kinds of rice cakes(long one, cheese-inside one...) and variety of sauces. You can make one by yourself!!(Of course, there are ramen and rice too!!) l love to go to Dukki and heal myself watching the enchanted restaurant. ^^
